Summer 2026 Art Camp | American 250

Art Camp at The Citadelle: Three Mornings of Summer Creativity

Summer mornings at the museum are about to get a whole lot more colorful. Art Camp at The Citadelle is back, and registration is officially open.

For three mornings, June 23 through 25, young artists entering 1st through 6th grade are invited to spend their summer days making, exploring, and celebrating creativity inside one of the most beautiful spaces in the Panhandle. This year’s camp honors America 250, weaving themes of history, heritage, and homegrown creativity into every project.

Campers will work with hands-on materials, learn new techniques, and take home original creations they made themselves. Best of all, they’ll spend their mornings surrounded by the kind of art and architecture that sparks imagination from the moment they walk through the doors.

We’re closing out camp on Thursday with a family picnic at noon. Bring the whole crew, grab a hot dog, and celebrate a week of creativity together because summer and good food just go together.
