There are two days in October when Canadian fills with color and craft in equal measure, and this year they belong to our third annual Native American Art Market, returning alongside the town’s Fall Foliage Festival.

Wander between galleries and streets lined with turning leaves, meet the artists in person, and hear how a piece came to be in their own words. Bring home work that carries generations of skill in every detail.

A Preview of What’s Coming

Inlaid jewelry from Santo Domingo Pueblo. Silver and turquoise, intricately worked, from Diné artisans. Carved knives and flutes shaped by Choctaw hands, alongside sand-textured paintings, cottonwood root katsinas and fine prints from the Hopi tradition.

There will be pottery animals from the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians, work from Nlaka’pamux artists, and canvases painted in bold color by Diné painters. From Zuni Pueblo, multimedia pieces that push tradition into new form. Ledger drawings rooted in Cheyenne and Arapaho storytelling. Silver jewelry from Jemez Pueblo, and silver tufa cast pieces shaped in the Diné tradition.

Nine tribal nations. A weekend of craft passed down, refined, and offered by hand.
